The 90% model review for the Shenhua Baotou coal-to-olefins upgrade demonstration project has been completed. Recently, a 90% model review meeting was held for the low-temperature methanol washing unit of this project, with participation from the project owner, Guoneng Group, patent holders, and other parties. As the largest single-unit project for domestic large-scale low-temperature methanol washing technology, this facility has attracted considerable attention. During the review, the team completed the model development to high standards, and all parties submitted optimization suggestions from various perspectives such as equipment and pipeline layout as well as fire protection, resulting in a successful consensus. The owner is satisfied with the design and progress. The successful completion of this review marks the entry of the project design into its final stage, laying a solid foundation for subsequent implementation.
