Is it necessary to consider slope design when designing steam pipes?
In areas where slope design is applied, phenomena such as medium stratification and sedimentation often occur.
The slope is designed to facilitate better flow of condensate in the steam pipes, thereby reducing water hammer damage. For steam pipes with generally low requirements, it is not necessary; a horizontal layout is also acceptable. The location of the steam trap must be carefully planned.
