Is it feasible to use a continuous atmospheric distillation column to concentrate sodium hydroxide solution? If so, please advise on the process control parameters, such as the temperature of the reactor and the temperature at which the product is collected
It is not feasible; the caustic soda concentration process is highly mature, using three-effect forward and counter-current evaporators.
