On March 31, Xinjiang Huida Energy Technology Co., Ltd. issued announcements regarding the winners of the EPC and EPC supervision contracts for its integrated production facility capable of producing 120,000 tons of green hydrogen and 700,000 tons of green ammonia per year; this marks the official start of the construction phase for this large-scale green ammonia project in China. The announcement states that the EPC contract for the project was won by Shaanxi Construction Engineering Group No. 10 Construction Co., Ltd., with the winning bid amounting to 417,042.140332 million yuan ； The winner of the EPC supervision bid section is Henan Zhongshang Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd., with a bid price of 4.768 million yuan. It is worth noting that the winning bid announcement also revealed for the first time the key construction milestones for the project: the total duration is 442 days, with construction set to begin on April 15, 2026, and completion scheduled for June 30, 2027. On March 2, the project officially issued tender notices for EPC and EPC supervision. On March 23, a public notice was issued regarding the submission for approval of the environmental impact assessment report for Xinjiang Huida Energy Technology Co., Ltd.’s integrated production facility capable of producing 120,000 tons of green hydrogen and 700,000 tons of green ammonia per year.
