A plant-wide flare system refers to a common emission system used throughout an entire factory to handle the discharge of liquids, combustible gases with low calorific value, combustible gases containing oxygen or halogen elements and their compounds, highly toxic and highly hazardous combustible gases, inert gases, acidic gases, and other corrosive gases. Such systems usually have high processing capacity and can handle large amounts of exhaust gas. An independent emission system or emission treatment system, on the other hand, is a separate system designed and built to handle specific gas emissions. This system will not be connected to the plant-wide flare system; rather, it is used to treat the emissions of specific gases separately. Such systems are generally suitable for dealing with gas emissions in certain special situations, such as highly toxic and highly hazardous flammable gases, inert gases, acidic gases, and other corrosive gases. In other words, if the emissions of a certain gas are not suitable for treatment through a plant-wide flare system, then in accordance with requirement 5.5.15 of the petrochemical regulations, an independent emission system or a treatment system should be established to handle the emissions of that gas separately. This ensures that the emissions of these special gases can be effectively controlled and treated, thereby protecting the environment and the safety of people. .
