On May 28, a symposium on the modern coal chemical industry chain between Yulin and the Yangtze River Delta was held. At the meeting, Yulin City signed 13 high-quality projects aimed at extending, strengthening, and improving its industrial chain, including those related to the production of bio-based ethylene glycol, catalytic materials made from rare and precious metals as well as their recycling, and EVA production using batch processes. The total amount of investment attracted through these projects amounted to 11.954 billion yuan. The Yulin Development and Reform Commission, Yulin High-Tech Zone, and Yulin Economic Development Zone presented information on the situation in Yulin city, as well as efforts to improve the business environment, and the city’s modern coal chemical industry chain.
