Chengda Engineering successfully signed the EPC general contract for the second production line of 25,000 tons per year of EPDM rubber at Yanneng Chemical

On October 21, China Chemical Chengda Company and Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum Yan’an Energy Chemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Yanenghua”) officially signed an EPC general contract for the second ethylene-propylene rubber production line with an annual capacity of 25,000 tons at Chengda Company. The 25,000 tons per year EPDM second production line project under this agreement is a key step in Yanneng Chemical’s efforts to develop new carbonyl-based materials; it represents an important milestone in the advancement of its product portfolio toward higher quality and greater differentiation. Upon completion, the project will effectively boost the production capacity of the EPDM production facility at Yanchang Energy Chemicals, enhance its market competitiveness and increase the added value of its products, thereby providing strong impetus for establishing it as a production base for new materials based on alcohol, aldehyde, ester, and carbonyl compounds derived from petroleum. At the signing ceremony, Xu Gang delivered a speech on behalf of Chengda Company, expressing sincere gratitude for the trust and support that Yannenghua has extended to Chengda Company over the years. He pointed out that the two sides have a long history of cooperation; from methanol plants and the first EPDM production facility to subsequent series of energy and chemical engineering projects, they have always adhered to the principle of mutual benefit and win-win outcomes, thereby building strong trust and friendship and laying a solid foundation for their cooperation. As the general contractor for the project, Chengda Company will leverage its strengths in engineering and technology. Aiming to create a benchmark project in the industry, it will ensure close coordination and efficient progress in all aspects such as design, procurement, and construction through high-quality management, so as to guarantee the smooth implementation of the project and its timely delivery in high quality. In his speech, Wang Rongbin said that as a highly capable EPC general contractor in China, Chengda Company has demonstrated strong technical expertise and excellent project management skills throughout the years of cooperation. The signing of this project represents a continuation of the cooperation between the two parties, as well as a new starting point for working together to develop the field of high-end new materials. He is convinced that through close cooperation between the two parties, the project will be implemented with high quality and efficiency, providing strong support for the \"specialized and high-end\" development of the new material industry in Yannenghua. Following the contract signing ceremony, the two parties held a project kickoff meeting, where in-depth discussions were held on key topics such as technical standards and specifications, the overall schedule, quality control throughout the project, and mechanisms for coordinated progress, thereby laying a solid foundation for the efficient execution of the project.
