Recently, the review of 60% scale models for the hydrogen tank area and the methanol finished product tank area of the Tianying Integrated Wind, Solar, Hydrogen Storage, Ammonia, and Alcohol Production (Phase I of the chemical plant) project in Anda City was successfully completed. This review focused on the core tank farm units of the project. The participants used 3D models to conduct a comprehensive assessment of both the hydrogen tank farm and the methanol finished product tank farm, examining professional aspects such as the scientific design of the process flows and equipment layout, the level of safety redundancy in the design, the feasibility of construction, the convenience of operation and maintenance, and the rationality of inspection and repair procedures. The owner’s project team put forward optimization suggestions regarding key aspects such as equipment spacing, pipeline routing, and operating space, providing valuable insights for the subsequent refinement of the design. In response to the suggestions and comments raised during the review process, the design team acted promptly and implemented them quickly, demonstrating efficient problem-solving skills as well as a commitment to excellence in design quality. After the meeting, the project owner stated that the professional competence and dedication demonstrated by the Tianchen team have laid a solid foundation for the high-quality progress of the project. The successful completion of this 60% model review not only marks an important milestone in the project’s design phase, but also provides guidance for further design development through comprehensive analysis by various parties. Next, the project team will use these review comments as a basis to continuously refine the design plan, ensuring that the project meets industry-leading standards in terms of safety, efficiency, and compliance, and striving to create a benchmark project in the field of integrated wind, solar, energy storage, hydrogen, ammonia, and alcohol technologies.
