Hualu Engineering signed the EPC general contract for the industrialization of chlorine resources project at Hubei Yihua

On April 15, Hubei Yihua signed an EPC general contract for the industrial utilization project of chlorine resources with Hualu Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Hualu Company). On April 2, a pre-approval announcement was released for the 110,000 tons per year chlorine resource utilization project as part of the new materials industrial park operated by Hubei Yihua New Energy Co., Ltd. Hubei Yihua New Energy Co., Ltd. has established a facility for the industrial utilization of chlorine resources with an annual capacity of 110,000 tons at No. 12 Xingang Road, Baiyang Industrial Park, Yichang High-Tech Zone. Using 84 mu of land and an investment of 550 million yuan, the company aims to make full use of the chlorine gas produced as a by-product of caustic soda production, ultimately producing 100,000 tons of chloromethanes and 12,000 tons of tetrachloroethylene, thus adding another crucial link to the park’s green, high-end chemical industry chain. On April 8, the results of the second bidding round for the EPC general contract of the 110,000 tons per year chlorine resource utilization project as part of Hubei Yihua New Energy Co., Ltd.’s new materials industrial park were announced.
