Have all coal-fired boilers been converted to use gas?

At the end of 2016, the Provincial Environmental Protection Department stated that, in order to address the haze problem, our facility’s coal-fired boilers were required to be converted to use gas. So, were all coal-fired boilers used for power generation actually converted to use gas?
Burning coal is no longer an option; such a method of use that involves low efficiency and high pollution certainly has no future. If humanity is to continue to thrive on Earth, these energy sources that are highly energy-intensive and polluting cannot be used in the future. Hydrogen and electricity will be the main alternatives going forward.
Large thermal power plants still need to burn coal; natural gas is too expensive. Coal is the most economical and convenient fuel for thermal power generation, as long as proper desulfurization and denitrification measures are taken.

That’s impossible; natural gas is so expensive. If everything has to be switched to using gas, then businesses will just have to close down
