There is currently a 15-cubic-meter oil waste tank, connected directly to an oil removal tank (a larger tank) via a pipeline without any valves in between; the larger tank is equipped with a nitrogen seal. If the design pressure of the oil tank is at atmospheric pressure, is it not necessary to install emergency venting ports when considering fire scenarios? Are there any safety hazards?/ Or should the design pressure of the oil tank be increased?
Then make it into a pressure vessel, as that makes it easier to add relief devices~
Why not add an additional nitrogen pipe at the top of the oil tank to connect it with the larger tank, thereby providing nitrogen protection? If it’s a pressure vessel at normal pressure, why operate it under pressure?

It turns out that once a fire breaks out, having emergency release valves is useless – who will relieve the pressure in such a situation? Hidden dangers are more dangerous than open flames; prevention is better than disaster relief! A great physician prevents illness; equipment and systems should be designed and installed with intrinsic safety in mind, rather than focusing on how to fix problems afterward!
