Static pressure + dynamic pressure = total pressure? ! See the figure.
1. The gauge is broken. 2. When the outlet is connected to the atmosphere, the static pressure of the fan is essentially 0, as it almost entirely converts into dynamic pressure. You can see that the dynamic pressure isn’t very high either; it’s possible that the static pressure isn’t even at the minimum resolution of the measuring instrument
It was measured to be inside the chimney; there is no pressure there, or it’s very low
The Huayou upstairs is right. The environmental monitoring station measures your exhaust gas outlet, that is, the exit of the chimney; chimneys operate under negative pressure or zero pressure. Environmental monitoring stations may show a reading of zero when negative pressure cannot be detected; don’t assume that their instruments are highly advanced. In fact, the instruments used in such stations are often Detox 350, which are handheld monitoring devices, and it’s quite common for them to give inaccurate readings. Generally, chimneys have a slight negative pressure, and this pressure is measured in Pascals – the value is very small, so it’s normal for the instruments to fail to detect it. The previous post about chimneys explained it quite clearly. I suggest you look into the relevant design specifications and materials related to chimneys, understand why chimneys operate under negative pressure, and figure out what measures should be taken when the static pressure at the chimney inlet is too high. Study those materials and do the calculations yourself; without consulting them or performing the calculations, you will never be able to understand these things. To be honest, the foundation skills are already poor; if one only knows how to ask questions without thinking or doing the calculations, how can their skills improve?
It wasn’t measured at the chimney outlet; it was measured at the fan outlet. This owner doesn’t even have a chimney – the air from the fan outlet goes straight up into the sky.
That’s even simpler – the fan exhausts directly into the atmosphere, so what is measured is the local atmospheric pressure, which is of course zero pressure. .
I don’t quite understand; the gas is pressurized by the centrifugal fan, so shouldn’t the static pressure be zero?
