Since it is all water, there is no issue of mixing different media, making the process entirely feasible. The following points should be noted: 1. For circulating water, it is best to have the flow from bottom to top, while for steam, the flow should be from top to bottom. 2. When switching to steam while the circulating water is in operation, it is necessary to drain all the circulating water. 3. It is best to vent and relieve pressure when switching from steam to circulating water.
It is technically feasible; when switching from circulating water to steam, the water must be completely drained. Generally, chemicals are added to circulating water, and introducing them into the steam and condensate systems is not beneficial. Also, for circulating water, it should enter at a low level and exit at a high level, while for steam, it should enter at a high level and exit at a low level; be careful not to get the connections mixed up.
