So, which tests can be conducted on heat transfer oil heaters to ensure their better operation? Before installing a heat transfer oil heater, it is necessary to check whether the electrical connections are proper, and whether there are any issues such as reversed polarity or missing phases. Generally, domestic manufacturers equip their circuits with protection functions against reversed polarity or missing phases; in such cases, the heat transfer oil heater will issue an automatic alarm. Before installing a heat pump, it is also important to check for any reverse rotation. If a connection is needed between the heat pump and the thermal overload relay, attention must be paid to the heat transfer medium used in the injection molding machine system. The heat transfer medium should be in circulation from the injection molding machine to the circulation pump, although no heating is required at this stage. After filling it into a system with a heated heat transfer medium, the next step is to check whether the level control function of the heat transfer oil heater is working properly. This involves using a liquid level sensor, as well as a level detector located in the fuel tank and at the top. Then, the circulation pump is started, and the sensor head at the top is moved upward. If a stable signal indicating normal operation is received from the heat transfer oil heater, it means that the level detector is functioning correctly. If no warning is issued, the sensor head needs to be adjusted again for further testing. If there is still no alarm from the machine related to temperature, it indicates that there is a problem with the sensor or the control circuitry. Only after all these checks have been completed can the heat transfer oil heater start operating normally.
