I. Classification of compressors 1. Classification by working principle: 1. Based on the compression action of the piston, they can be divided into 1) Single-acting compressors: Gas is compressed only on one side of the piston; these are also known as single-action compressors. 2) Double-acting compressor: Gas can be compressed on both sides of the piston; it is also known as a reciprocating or multi-acting compressor. 3) Multi-cylinder single-acting compressors: Compressors that use one side of the piston for compression, and they have multiple cylinders. 4) Multi-cylinder double-acting compressor: A compressor that uses both sides of the piston for compression, and it has multiple cylinders. 2. Based on the final exhaust pressure of the compressor, they can be classified as 1) low-pressure compressors: those with a final exhaust pressure of 3–10 psig. 2) Medium-pressure compressor: The final exhaust pressure is between 10 and 100 psig. 3) High-pressure compressor: The exhaust end pressure is between 100 and 1000 psig. 4) Ultra-high pressure compressor: The exhaust final pressure is above 1000 psig. 3. Classification of reciprocating compressors 1) Classification by discharge volume (at inlet condition) Type Discharge volume, m3/min Micro-compressor <1 Small compressor 1∽10 Medium compressor 10∽60 Large compressor >60 2) Classification by structural type They can be divided into vertical, horizontal, angled, symmetrically balanced, and counter-type types, etc. Generally, vertical types are used for small and medium-sized ones ; Horizontal type is used for small high-pressure applications ; The angular type is used for small and medium-sized ones ; Symmetric balance types are widely used, especially in large and medium-sized reciprocating compressors ; The standard type is mainly used in ultra-high pressure compressors. The meanings of the general structural code for domestic reciprocating compressors are as follows: vertical – Z. Horizontal – P, Angular – L, S, Star – T, V, W, X, Symmetrically balanced – H, M, D, Counter-type – DZ.
I guess you’re posting back and forth in hopes of winning
How could that be? Technical posts aren’t meant for spamming. Besides, you’ve already explained everything in detail; there’s nothing left to correct or add. There’s no room for further comments anymore, haha.
Just joking, don’t take it seriously? Look, you’ve won a prize!
No way, why wasn’t there any notification?
