Refined diesel has a high color intensity

For the diesel hydrotreating unit with the new catalyst, after it started operating the sulfur content in the refined diesel was below 5 ppm and the nitrogen content was 3 ppm; however, the diesel had a yellow color, with a color intensity of 1.5 to 2.0. What is the reason for this? The raw materials consist of Cuichai at 30%, coker gas diesel at 30%, and Changchai at 40%.

Some large-molecule sulfur and nitrogen reactions require harsh conditions, necessitating an increase in temperature
Are the sulfur and nitrogen contents that low? Is it still because it wasn’t removed thoroughly?
