An electromagnetic flowmeter can be considered; ultrasonic flowmeters are too expensive.
Among the flow meters used in pipeline installation, the electromagnetic flow meter results in the lowest pressure loss, as there are no obstructing elements inside the flow tube. Additionally, external clamp-type ultrasonic flowmeters also do not experience pressure loss. For gases with a large diameter and not very low flow rates, the pressure loss of a Bourdon tube flow meter is also very small.
