I would like to ask fellow sailors: how is electromagnetic heating? I’m not very familiar with it. We currently have a mixing device with a diameter of φ2800, which requires 500 kW of power. I’m not sure whether electromagnetic heating could be used for this purpose Does the electromagnetic field have an impact on stirring? Will high-power heating to 400°C affect the equipment nearby and the solenoid valves? Since the solid content in our materials is very high, using heat exchangers may lead to blockages; if there are other heating methods, we would appreciate it if experts could share their insights!
No problem – high-frequency electromagnetic heaters used in the machinery industry can be applied for heat treatment of metal surfaces. Units with a capacity of several thousand kW are common; I’ve seen them in my friend’s machining factory, and the heat treatment furnaces there worked just fine. Your setup should work fine as well, given the low power level involved. It’s not an issue at all; you can simply consult a professional manufacturer for advice. . . Use “electromagnetic heater” as a keyword on Du Niang, and there are many manufacturers.
The key issue is that my equipment has a large diameter; I also inquired about some common options, but almost none of them reach 2800 mm in diameter
Can’t we just use an electric heater directly?
