Burial of flammable liquid storage tanks

Now, due to limited space on the client’s side, is it possible to bury the methanol and styrene storage tanks underground, just like gasoline tanks? Is this appropriate? Has anyone done this? Let’s exchange ideas
I’ve seen methanol tanks placed in pits; on occasion, when the methanol inside the tank was exhausted and there was water in the pit, the strength of the foot bolts wasn’t sufficient, causing the tank to float like a boat, with the connection pipes breaking
If these two tanks do not require insulation or cooling, they should be able to be buried underground. For buried tanks, the specifications for gas stations can be followed; double-layer tanks can be used, or a concrete tank combined with a single-layer tank, and facilities such as leak detection pipes need to be installed.
From what you say, the space above ground still needs to be used after the container is buried, right? Otherwise, why do it?
