Experts, may I ask what are the requirements regarding the water quality of the water fed into electrolyzers in the chlor-alkali industry? This includes SS, turbidity, pH, salinity, the concentrations of various cations and anions, as well as the problems that arise when these ion concentrations are too high or too low. I think it should be less chloride ions.
All of the things you mentioned need to be measured, with the most important being the sodium chloride content. If its level is high, saturation occurs and precipitation takes place; if the level is low, electricity is wasted during electrolysis! ! !
