Intermittent reaction vessels are used for reactions that produce low-boiling-point organic compounds. The yield of these compounds is not high, but their boiling point is around -6°C; their density is lower than that of air. In short, their physical and chemical properties are rather problematic. Has anyone encountered similar situations? Please share information on how to handle such by-product gases in a safe manner
A low-temperature chilled water heat exchanger is added afterward, and a vacuum pump is used to draw air out for condensation and collection. I’m not sure if it’s feasible

It can be recovered through cryogenic methods~~~~ If it can be dissolved, it can be washed with organic solvents at low temperatures~~~ and then separated~~~~ If the amount is very small, activated carbon absorption can be used~~~~ As a last resort, it should be sent to the RTO system~~~

Isn’t it quite small? What’s inside it, roughly speaking?
How high is the temperature? Will the output from the reactor be in liquid phase, vapor phase, or a two-phase mixture of vapor and liquid? Is considering using an absorption-desorption or distillation process to achieve this?
The temperature inside the reactor is around 50°C. The gas is generated during the dropwise addition reaction; the reactor is filled with liquid. After reviewing relevant information, an absorption method is being considered for handling this situation. Since the amount of gas is not large, separation methods have not been considered yet
