Note: In the diagram, 11600 and 24000 represent the distances between the columns of the steel shed (the large steel shed at the material storage area). The company’s Φ1600×6 flue needs to pass through this steel shed. To facilitate loading and unloading by loaders, the company requires that the spacing between the columns supporting the pipeline be arranged as close as possible to those of the steel shed.
It’s definitely not possible to have it suspended 24 meters in the air; can’t supports be added on the sides or under the roof to achieve this?
A 24-meter structure requires steel trusses; without them, the flue needs internal supports to enhance its stiffness, otherwise it will collapse. . . Consult the structural engineering team; it’s their area of expertise. . .

The company doesn’t have any staff specialized in structure design – how can steel trusses be constructed then?

Can we use data to illustrate this? The leader requires this to be done; we need theoretical data in order to report back to the leader, you know?:)
Find someone who understands steel structures to do the calculation. If the fees for using official channels are high, then from a technical standpoint it’s easy to find someone privately – just send a red envelope, but in case something goes wrong, that person won’t take any responsibility

With a wall thickness of only 6 mm, it’s probably very difficult; it really might collapse
