I would like to ask fellow sea professionals: what should be the specification of the filter elements in precision filters when liquid materials enter the clean area? (Non-sterile active pharmaceutical ingredient)

The appropriate filter element size depends on the flow rate required. For example, for air use, a 5''X1 filter element has a flow rate of 0.5–1.0 m3/min, while a 10''X1 element has a flow rate of 1.0–2.0 m3/min. Titanium rods are used for filtering steam and liquids; a 20''X1 element has a flow rate of 6–7 m3/min. It is necessary to consult the filter element manufacturer to determine the exact specifications.
