There are three reasons why the bearings of screw air compressors can get damaged: 1: Damage caused by wear of the bearings during normal operation; 2: Damage resulting from poor quality of the bearings; 3: Other issues that lead to damage of the screw air compressor bearings:
1. High load, which poses a risk to the main motor and electrical system. 2. The gas production capacity of the screw air compressor is affected. 3. In severe cases, it can lead to a \"stuck\" condition
During disassembly, the inner ring of the bearing is difficult to remove, so a destructive method is used.

1. If the bearings are replaced and remanufactured, an improper fit of the motor end caps can lead to uneven clearance among the bearings’ balls, which in turn increases friction during operation. This can cause the bearings’ temperature to rise sharply, eventually resulting in their burnout. 2. If there is grease that has not been cleaned properly in the bearing chamber, or if grease containing impurities is used, it can cause damage to the bearing races during operation, leading to excessive temperatures and eventual destruction of the bearings. 3. The bearings of the compressor suffer from quality issues such as rust spots on the raceways, lack of flexibility, excessive play, and deformation of the cage. 4. The axial misalignment of the stator and rotor cores causes changes in the positions of the inner and outer rings of the bearing, which leads to difficult operation of the bearing and can result in its damage. 5. Improper bearing assembly: For example, during cold mounting, uneven striking of the inner ring of the bearing can cause wear on the shaft, leading to the issue of the inner ring shifting ; And when installing the motor end cover, uneven striking can cause the bearing chamber of the end cover to fit too loosely around the outer ring of the bearing, resulting in the outer ring shifting out of place.
