I am just starting to work with VOCs; I am looking for books that contain calculations related to VOCs adsorption and catalytic combustion, as well as calculation tools for VOCs treatment using RCO and RTO processes, including material balance and energy balance calculations (available for a fee).
The catalysts used for catalytic oxidation vary from one manufacturer to another, and their performance also differs; there is no universal calculation program available, as this is determined by the differences in the catalysts themselves. I have visited an RCO unit at Sinopec Tianjin Company, which is one of the larger facilities of its kind in China; the heating of the catalytic bed layers was not optimal, with over 70% of the heat having to be provided by external electric heating, resulting in high energy consumption for the unit

I checked out your website and your DouDing profile; what you have isn’t even comparable to HTRI’s offerings. Have you developed any process packages with ASPEN? I don’t think so. You say on the website that you developed RTO, but you’ve never even worked on RTO before – how can you develop it? ! Practice kung fu or learn from Qiao Feng; don’t learn from Kumochi. Don’t blame me for speaking rashly.
EDR is far inferior to HTRI. HTRI can be considered a boiler; it depends on how you use it!
If only material balance and heat balance are required, it can be simulated using Aspen; by ignoring the internal reaction processes and using a Gibbs reactor, the results can be obtained.
