Using 20 steel is fine; make sure to choose in accordance with GBT 6479-2013 \"Seamless Steel Tubes for High-Pressure Fertilizer Equipment\"
It’s definitely not suitable; the main reason is the excessive pressure. For 20-carbon steel, the maximum pressure is 72 kilograms, while 25 MPa requires 250 kilograms – carbon steel simply cannot withstand such pressure. . . . This is my own understanding based on the information I’ve read; it’s not necessarily correct. . .
There’s a slight issue with this; I checked GB150 specifically. For 20-carbon steel, at 55 degrees Celsius, the allowable stress is around 130 MPa when it’s below 10 mm, and around 120 MPa when it’s below 100 mm. So it should be usable. Why don’t you check again?
