Regarding the claim of a Class A R&D center

Have you all heard of the Class A laboratory building and the Class A R&D center? A Class A R&D center is set up in the chemical plant, and there are certainly some flammable substances there ； Should a Class A R&D center be located in an office area or a production area? Should it be considered as a Class A facility or as a Class I critical facility?

I’ve never heard of Class A experimental buildings or Class A R&D centers; it might be due to my limited personal experience. For research projects in the research institutes of general chemical enterprises, in addition to conducting certain studies using the existing production facilities, new pilot-scale facilities are also designed in accordance with the requirements of those production facilities – those classified as Category A are designed accordingly, and those classified as Category B are designed as such. These facilities are usually located near the production units, so that access to water, electricity, gas, air, and nitrogen is convenient. As for the small-scale testing equipment used in laboratories, it is generally placed within the laboratory building, with specific design standards applicable to such laboratories.
