I would like to ask the experienced colleagues here: At our company, the equipment inventory is maintained by the equipment department. It’s quite troublesome to have to consult this inventory each time we need to check the process parameters of the equipment. Could the main parameters of the equipment be directly incorporated into the DCS? In that way, when operating the computer and selecting a device, its parameters such as the pump’s head, flow rate, and performance curve could be displayed immediately, which would make it much easier to retrieve this information whenever there are changes in operating conditions. Is this feasible?
