Are there specific requirements regarding the sanitary protection distance between petrochemical enterprises and water sources, and which standards should be followed?
The health protection distance generally refers to the distance from residential areas; refer to GBZ1-2010 \"Health Standards for the Design of Industrial Enterprises\" for details. There is generally no specific distance specified for the location of water sources. In accordance with the requirements of GB50187 and GB50489, industrial facilities must not be established within local water source protection areas; the boundaries of such areas can be determined by consulting the local environmental protection authorities.
GB 8195-2011: Health protection distances in the petroleum processing industry; GBT 17222-2012: Health protection distances in the coal gas production industry; GB 11661: Health protection distances in the coking industry. Most of these regulations relate to residential areas, schools, and hospitals. As for health protection distances around water sources, I couldn’t find any relevant standards.
