The methanol storage tank contains some methanol (the pump is unable to extract it). Due to design flaws, the drainage outlet cannot remove all the methanol from inside the tank; approximately 1 cm of methanol remains in the tank. Since the facility has been out of use for a long time, I would like to empty the contents of the tank. Is there any good way to do this? The tank is equipped with a nitrogen seal and a vent valve, as well as manholes at the bottom and top of the tank
Find a professional cleaning company to do it for you; companies that have experience in cleaning large crude oil storage tanks (COW – crude oil washers) or carrying out chemical cleaning of large alcohol storage tanks are very skilled at such tasks, and their fees are not high. Look for them online – ordinary property owners are not able to handle this kind of work.
