How is the location of the longitudinal weld on the cylinder determined? As shown in the figure
These are the detailed drawings of the circumferential and longitudinal welds of the tank shell in my facility, for reference only
Check page 13 of GB150 for welding joint classifications
The adjacent longitudinal seams should be offset, avoiding the pipe openings, not overlapping with the long welds of internal and external fittings, and trying to prevent them from being covered by those fittings.
