Are multiple compressor anti-surge tanks installed at the same return level (such as secondary and primary circuits), and if so, how is anti-surge control carried out?
Why use multiple tanks? One tank is sufficient for normal operation; for different working conditions, what is needed is additional calculations to determine the appropriate number of tanks as well as the necessary anti-surge measures
One anti-surge valve corresponds to one anti-surge separation tank; having two or more separation tanks would result in high costs, and such a design has not been seen yet.
For example, in round two one, it returns to the point before entering the buffer tank.
There aren’t multiple ones, unless it’s multi-stage, or in order to achieve multi-stage cooling – in that case the outlet temperature is high, and cooling and compression take place in multiple stages
A surge arrest valve already incorporates a surge arrest separation tank, and the design requirements for that tank are quite stringent; there is no need to install another one.
What is the purpose of setting multiple ones?
