Recently, the company has been carrying out renovations to its steam system. I need to know how to convert superheated steam at 1.0 MPa and 230°C into saturated steam at 0.5 MPa and 165°C after reducing its temperature and pressure. I would appreciate guidance from those who are experienced in this area.

A set of temperature and pressure reduction devices is needed, as well as pipelines for desalinated water. It is necessary to consider whether saturated steam needs to be transported over long distances; if so, whether it is required to reduce its temperature and pressure to that of saturated steam. If transportation over long distances is involved and the steam’s temperature and pressure are reduced to those of saturated steam, condensation will form inside the pipelines.
Install control valves for pressure reduction first, and then add another DESUPERHEATER

A steam control valve is placed at the front, the pressure measurement point is located behind the valve; meanwhile, a condensate water ejector is installed behind the valve, with hot condensate water flowing through it. A temperature control circuit is then set up behind the valve, which enables control over both temperature and pressure
