In a fixed-bed reactor, the gas velocity is below the critical fluidization velocity; in a fluidized-bed reactor, it lies between the critical velocity and the entrainment velocity; in a pneumatic-bed reactor, the gas velocity is greater than the entrainment velocity, and this is mainly related to the properties of the particles
