What could be the reason why an electromagnetic flowmeter shows flow for a brief moment before showing no flow again? Sometimes, after draining the water at the flange connection, there is a reading again; but when it is tightened, no flow reading is shown. The flow meter is installed on the vertical pipe or BBK Electronics pipeline – is this a problem with the flow meter?
What kind of materials? Electromagnetic flowmeters are not suitable for non-conductive materials.
