In the production of sodium metabisulfite, the reaction between sulfur dioxide and soda ash releases large amounts of carbon dioxide gas; this gas can be collected to produce dry ice (Guangdong Zhongcheng), as well as baking soda (Shandong Kailong, Banghua, Hunan Yinqiao). The production process for producing baking soda via co-production is relatively simple; the equipment used is largely the same as that in the production of pyroxyline. Moreover, the quality of the baking soda produced in this way is better than that produced by alkali plants using co-production methods, resulting in good economic benefits. I have independently completed the design, supervision, and commissioning of 4 sodium bicarbonate production lines using the pyrolysis process, and am capable of providing turnkey equipment solutions.
