Issues regarding the butanol distillation grade of procaine penicillin

The company is currently working on a new project involving the distillation of butanol from procaine penicillin. The distillation equipment consists of a distillation column along with a bottom reactor, along with corrugated wire mesh packing. The color of the butanol obtained remains yellowish, and no amount of reflux seems to be able to resolve this issue; help is needed.
Obviously, impurities have entered the butanol; it is possible to analyze the composition of these impurities or the substances in the distillation broth that may have a boiling point similar to that of butanol
No other substances were detected in the gas phase analysis, while the liquid phase sample gave a complex profile that made analysis difficult,,?^?,,
