I have been very interested in sulfur-tolerant methanation catalysts since I came across reports on them, but it’s difficult to find high-quality information or papers on this topic. Does anyone here have any such materials that they could share? :handshake:handshake:victory::victory:
The ideal process flow for coal-to-natural gas production is as follows: 1. Currently, space furnace gasification operates at high temperatures, resulting in gas with excellent composition; The Texaco water-coal slurry gasifier is capable of fully treating organic wastewater within the production system; therefore, these two types of gasifiers can be considered ideal choices for coal gasification ; 2. A waste heat boiler associated with the high-temperature gasification process generates high-pressure superheated steam, making it an ideal component for use with space furnaces ; 3. The isothermal methanation reactor generates high-pressure superheated steam, which can be connected to the steam production system of the gasification waste boiler. The excess steam can be used for power generation or as steam for compression turbines; such an efficient use of energy is also a standard practice in international processes. Overall, the isobaric coal-to-gas production process involves maintaining a constant temperature throughout the process, from high to low. After the coal is gasified at high temperatures, it is cooled by water. High-quality steam is recovered from the waste heat, and after being filtered through high-temperature ceramic tubes or bag filters, it can then be used in the sulfur-resistant methanation synthesis step. The resulting mixed methane gas, after waste heat recovery, enters the low-temperature methanol washing process for desulfurization and decarburization; after further cryogenic separation to obtain liquid methane, most of it is recycled back to the methane processing unit. As for the super-detailed aspects of a small portion of the hydrogen recovery process, such as the control of the amount of steam added before coal gas enters the methane production process, they will not be discussed in detail here
It’s difficult to find people who have specific information; communicating through various search channels might yield results. Platforms such as CNKI, databases, and some foreign websites can be useful, and finding a better way to obtain that information might be more effective than simply trying to find the information directly
Actually, I did manage to get some information, but this project is quite large and exceeds my capabilities. For large-scale chemical projects, it’s indeed moving further and further away
