During the light hydrocarbon recovery process, the liquid level in the propane receiver of the propane compression refrigeration system is continuously dropping; it was initially at 50% and is now around 25%. What are your thoughts on this? No obvious leaks have been found at present.
Has the refrigerant circulation volume increased? An increased refrigerant circulation volume raises the total capacity of the system; therefore, when there is a shortage of refrigerant, it must be replenished promptly.
The entire system needs to be checked together to see if there is any change in the liquid level inside the remote evaporator
The remote evaporator has not changed much; the load has increased by 50% recently, but this reason isn’t quite sufficient
At different loads, the refrigerant flow rate within the refrigeration unit varies. When the load is increased by 50%, the flow rate increases. . . .
