It is necessary, and usually the non-condensable gas is further condensed before being discharged. In the gas phase, it is secondary condensation.

I’m not sure what type of condenser you are using. For applications involving reflux, if it’s not a pressure vessel, it certainly can’t be a closed system. When selecting a condenser, one should choose a heat exchanger with a tube box at the end; the non-condensable gases are then led out through the ports on the side of the tube box and connected to the exhaust manifold. In both large-scale chemical manufacturing and fine chemical production, VOCs cannot be released directly into the atmosphere – they must first be collected and processed in an exhaust treatment system before being released.
It depends on your medium: if it is non-flammable, connect it directly to the exhaust system; if it is a flammable gas, use a flame arrester before connecting it to the exhaust system
