For the acidic wastewater tank (hydrochloric acid, pH 1), with a temperature of 40–60 degrees Celsius, aerated and stirred, and a depth of 5 meters, what type of level gauge would be suitable?
This requirement doesn’t call for high precision; a non-metallic float type should suffice. It can be made at home.
A float together with a limit switch is sufficient; if possible, add a proximity switch as well. For proper instrumentation, it’s better to use an ultrasonic level gauge, as it’s cost-effective.
It mainly depends on the precision requirements and the investment cost. Radar level gauges work too!
