I would like to ask the experts here: has anyone used single-screw steam compressors? The type where the screw meshes with planetary gears to compress steam; it’s not a twin-screw type! What are the things to be mindful of when operating a single-screw steam compressor? Is the work situation stable? Is it fragile? What details should be paid attention to in daily use, and how often should it be repaired and maintained? Is it expensive? Does anyone have relevant knowledge they can share? Thank you so much! These two brands started working on this quite early; such equipment is now available in China as well. Is it feasible to use it in steam compression?

There are several companies in the south that manufacture screw compressors, but they are used in a wide range of applications – not solely for steam systems. We have used one of these compressors in a steam system, and it has performed well, operating efficiently
