For the pipelines carrying combustible gases, liquefied hydrocarbons, and combustible liquids at the inlet and outlet of a facility, isolation valves and 8-shaped blind plates should be installed at the boundaries of the facility. A platform should be provided at the location of the isolation valves; such a platform, with a length equal to or greater than 8 meters, should be equipped with ladders in both directions.
