In a crystallization system, what is the difference between using a vertical heat exchanger and a horizontal heat exchanger? Which one is less likely to cause clogging?
Could you explain the following to me in principle?
For processes involving phase changes between gas and liquid, vertical heat exchangers are preferred; horizontal ones are prone to gas blockages and uneven heat transfer
What about those with crystals? What is the difference between vertical and horizontal types?
Our heat exchangers for materials that crystallize easily are horizontal in design, and they often get clogged
