The typical location is in the middle of two rows of equipment or beside one row of equipment. ②When arranging pipe galleries, it is necessary to take into account the requirements of roads and fire protection, as well as the placement of utility poles, underground pipes, and cables, and nearby buildings and structures; at the same time, areas used for the maintenance of large and medium-sized equipment should be avoided. ③Air coolers, instruments, and electrical cable trays can be installed in the upper part of the pipe rack, while equipment such as pumps can be placed in the lower part. ④Valves are installed on the pipe gallery; when operation or maintenance is required, a walkway for people or local operation platforms and ladders should be provided. 2. The clear height on the bottom floor of the pipe gallery is primarily determined by the following factors: ① The clear height required for the equipment installed beneath the pipe gallery. ②When there is a maintenance passage beneath the pipe gallery, the requirements for the passage of vehicles or cranes must be taken into account; the minimum clear height of such passages as well as the minimum clearance from the bottom beams to the ground are specified in HG/T20546—2009. 3. The distance between the two layers of the pipe gallery. It should be determined based on specific factors such as the pipe diameter, the dimensions of the pipe support structure, and maintenance requirements; however, the minimum clear distance is 1.5 m. When there are many pipes, the distance between the two layers commonly used is 2m. 4. When the two pipe corridors intersect in a \"T\" shape, they should be at different elevations, and the height difference can be determined based on the diameter of the pipes; generally, 750~1000 mm is an appropriate value. 5. The spacing between pipe rack columns is generally 4 to 9 meters, with 6 meters being the most common value, as some pipes require support from columns.
