Results of the online evaluation phase for the 2020 National College Students’ Chemical Engineering Design Competition, Northwest region: a ratio of 1 for water. Does anyone share this feeling?
I haven’t seen the specific design plan, so I won’t comment. However, among the award-winning works from the past few years, there were indeed some excellent designs; it’s likely that mentors provided guidance in their creation!
Just don’t bring in the parents’ inventions and creations, not even if it’s just a chemistry experiment.
The main purpose of this competition is to foster among college students an awareness of chemical engineering design, so that they understand all the aspects that need to be considered in a chemical engineering project, from feasibility analysis to the completion of the design. As for the specific design details and the degree of optimization of the plan, it’s difficult to assess its quality without the guidance of a supervisor. What’s important is this process; true design needs to be developed and honed gradually through work.
