A one-way valve is installed on the equipment’s vent port; now it is planned to create a negative pressure in the equipment, with a pressure level of around -0.8 Mpa. Will the one-way valve get damaged? ?
First of all, the data is incorrect; a negative pressure of -0.8 MPa is impossible. Complete vacuum corresponds to -0.1 MPa. Moreover, since the device uses a one-way valve, it is not a pressure-bearing device, so it is even less likely to be able to withstand negative pressure
A full vacuum with a negative pressure of 0.1 Mpa is perfectly fine; if negative pressure needs to be created, a breathing valve should be considered, rather than just a one-way exhaust valve.
