After the feed rate is increased, what is the most noticeable change in the entire distillation column? At first, does the liquid level at the bottom of the column and the pressure difference across the column start to decrease, after which adjustments are made to the reboiling and reflux ratios?

Distillation towers serve different purposes, the properties of the materials being processed vary, and the production stages as well as the operating conditions differ as well. Some form gradually at the same time, some turn from gas to liquid first, and some turn from liquid to gas first. For reference.

The parameter most sensitive to changes is likely the tower temperature, especially the temperature of the sensor plate, followed by an increase in the liquid level at the bottom of the tower and an increase in the pressure difference across the tower.
