The material of the equipment pipes is 30408; the entire system needs to be cleaned after it starts operating. Currently, acid cleaning and alkali cleaning are being prepared for – citric acid is used for acid cleaning, while sodium hydroxide is used for alkali cleaning. There are two cleaning temperature options: room temperature and 80°C. What should be the appropriate concentration of acid and alkali? I saw similar posts posted by other forum users, but none of them provided a clear solution. I’m raising this question now in the hope that those with more experience can offer some guidance{:1_90:}
The CIP cleaning solution is basically at this concentration.
Are the concentrations of acids and bases the same? The corrosive effect of acidity on metals should be more pronounced, right?
