During the adsorption process, the purity of the product decreases. This can be resolved by reducing the feed rate and shortening the adsorption time. How can we solve this problem while ensuring efficiency?
What you’re referring to is reducing the single-cycle operating time of molecular sieves, which in turn decreases the processing volume; quality is maintained by increasing the frequency of regeneration. Such vaguely worded descriptions can lead people astray. When one’s comprehension isn’t sufficient, they shouldn’t make unfounded descriptions based on their own misinterpretations
Once the processing capacity of the adsorption tower reaches a certain level, its treatment efficiency inevitably declines; it may even stop absorbing substances once it becomes saturated. Production efficiency can be improved in several ways: by operating multiple towers simultaneously and switching between them when regeneration is needed, by using high-efficiency adsorbents to lower the temperature of the adsorption tower and thus increase the processing capacity per cycle, and by making technical improvements to enhance the efficiency of regeneration and reduce the waiting time required for it
